At the start not more than 2 men per boat. During the game not more than 3 men per boat are allowed. Each player in turn, throws the dice and moves any one of his men from boat to boat. A player must also select a ball from the central cone to pull in one of the boats. If the boat pulled ashore contains the player's own play piece then he may place it on the island.
